Cheyenne

Cheyenne was surrendered to a local rescue when a beef farmer discovered her injured. She was only one week and suffered broken legs and a severe septic infection. Her mother remained at the farm mooing and searching for her. The rescue contacted Tracy immediately for help. Upon hearing her story, Tracy knew she had to act right away and brought Cheyenne to the hospital for evaluation and emergency treatment. While she was being treated at the hospital, Tracy asked the farmer if he would be willing to surrender her mother. He agreed, and she was brought to Asha's. After a series of surgeries and a very long hospital stay, Cheyenne was able to fight off the septic infection and walk again. Although we could not place Cheyenne and her mother together, she watched us caring for her and knew she was close by and safe. Today, Cheyenne is absolutely the sweetest girl ever at Asha’s. Cheyenne will never ever be harmed and will always know love at Asha's.
