Statement of Unity & Mercy

Please read carefully before proceeding

Asha's Farm Sanctuary is a Christ-centered mission of mercy—a sacred space rooted in the belief that every creature bears the image of a loving Creator. We hold the inherent dignity of all living beings as a guiding truth, and we welcome every soul who enters our gates as a beloved child of God.

Our volunteers are a beautiful tapestry of backgrounds—every walk of life, every faith tradition, every culture and personal story. We do not ask you to leave who you are at the gate. We simply ask that, together, we lay down our differences and enter this space with one heart.

While we celebrate the rich diversity of those who serve alongside us, we remain deeply and humbly rooted in the spiritual values that define this mission: quiet devotion, unconditional service, and a love that asks nothing in return. This is the way our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has called us to serve—not in word only, but in deed.

When you cross our gates, we kindly ask that all personal politics, ideological debates, and outside differences be set aside. This is not a place for division. This is holy ground, and we enter it together—unified in a single, sacred purpose: to provide a dignified, peaceful, and merciful life for every animal and every person in our care.

"Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me." — Matthew 25:40

Our Dual Mission of Mercy

Asha's Farm Sanctuary is a unique haven where we extend mercy, healing, and Christ-like love to both rescued farmed animals and the human community. True service here means caring for our residents while also opening our hearts to welcome, feed, and bless the guests who cross our gates. Our hospitality is intentionally extended to individuals of all walks of life, requiring a heart of deep humility to serve those with special needs and diverse lifestyles including religious or political backgrounds.

With this dual mission in mind, please answer the following questions:

Please share why you feel called to support our mission of rescuing and providing a dignified, peaceful life for farmed animals.

Please share your perspective on serving our diverse visitors and guests with unconditional Christ-like humility, respect, kindness, and hospitality.

Core Commitments of Service

Please confirm your commitment to the operational standards of our mission:

1. A Heart of Flexibility *

Our daily schedules and event logistics change rapidly based on immediate needs. While we gladly support any necessary accommodations for physical capabilities or health requirements, we rely on volunteers who come to serve the mission as a whole rather than a specific personal preference.

Barring any necessary physical or health-related accommodations, do you agree to be flexible and accept any task assigned to you by leadership?

2. A Spirit of Cooperation & Respect *

Asha's Farm Sanctuary is a peaceful refuge. We serve a highly diverse community of guests, donors, and visitors, and we require an environment free from personal agendas, politics, or division.

Do you commit to keeping outside ideologies private and treating all staff, guests, and fellow volunteers with Christ-like kindness and respect?

3. Alignment with Order and Direction *

To ensure the safety of our animals and the smooth running of our events, leadership instructions and shift schedules must be followed precisely and without debate.

Do you agree to respect the direction of sanctuary leadership and follow all operational and scheduling instructions promptly?
